Thriving Waynesville Dental Office voted Best of Haywood Dental Practice and Best Orthodontic Care is Growing again! We are seeking a skilled and Caring Dental Assitiant to join our dental team. Our Assistants play a crucial role in assiting our dentists and hygienst, ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office, and the delivery of exceptional patient experiences. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with a strong commitment to patient care. 

As a dental assistant, you play an important role in our office and perform limited clinical duties under the direction of a dentist. Clinical duties may include equipment preparation and sterilization, preparing patients for treatment, assisting the dentist during treatment, and providing patients with instructions for oral healthcare procedures. May perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding information for insurance purposes.

• Dental assistant certification where required.
• X-ray certification.
• Nitrous oxide certification preferred.
• Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, BLS and infection control training as required by law.
• Experience with relevant dental software.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Be available to work Tuesday-Friday 7:30 am-5:30pm
